Today I delivered my work to May Space for the exhibition of Sydney Printmakers work. The gallery is open during restricted hours or there is an online catalogue here. They have had to think of creative ways to manage the gallery during these extraordinary times.

Sitting at the gallery invigilating (but not being particularly vigilant), it’s very satisfying to look at the work produced by my colleagues Anna Russell and Rhonda Nelson and I, and ceramicist Felicity Hall, over the course of almost a year.

This will be a wonderful exhibition, and I am lucky enough to have been invited to send work from my ‘Text’ series of monotypes. Unfortunately I can’t get there this time. If you are near Haacht, Belgium, please go along.

Lucent is open each day until next Monday 10am till 4 pm. I’m enjoying gallery sitting here at the Incinerator. it’s very interesting learning how people interact with the show. Except for a couple of dark and rainy days last week, there’s been a steady stream of visitors. I’ve particularly enjoyed that children come in alone, then drag their parents downstairs to see the show later.
A young boy just visited and said ‘I never knew art could be so interesting. This is a first for me.’ It’s made my day!
