Spring in the Mountains

Spring has sprung in the Blue Mountains……and the nights are lit with starlight.
On my walks, I collected rocks to grind into ochre to die my paper for Shifu.

And here are the dyed papers…….

It is fairly simple but laborious to make, and somehow very satisfying.

Anthee beautiful colours…shifu….what does that mean…I looked it up and Wikipedia said it meant ‘master’……?
